I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A relative of mine briefly worked at Roberts Thomas E in Roanoke, TX and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further benefits but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more investigating to determine which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Roanoke as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
