I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Wathen Thomas Foundation Peterson Art in Riverside, CA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are other advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Blueridge Software
• Memba Context

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more research to see which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Riverside as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
