I have spent the last few months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at Garfield County Airport Ofc in Rifle, CO and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are many benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a bit more reading to see which products offer the most features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Rifle as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
