I have spent the last few months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A relative of mine briefly worked at Lane Aviation Inc in Richmond, TX and he said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further benefits but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to see which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Richmond as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
