I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Village of Rental Economics in Rantoul, IL and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do some more research to work out which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Rantoul as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
