I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Great River Aviation LLC in Quincy, IL and she said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to see which products offer the best features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Quincy as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
