I have spent the last 2 months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine worked at Redtail Aviation in Price, UT and he said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a little more research to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Price as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
