I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Powell Municipal Airport in Powell, WY and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are further product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should narrow it down to the top software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more research to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Powell as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
