I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Air Portage Inc in Portage, WI and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software program reviews are generally the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to see which programs offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Portage as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
