I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at St Clair County - Airport Terminal Building in Port Huron, MI and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do some more research to work out which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Port Huron as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
