I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A relative of mine worked at Express Aviation in Philadelphia, MS and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are other advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more reading to work out which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Philadelphia as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
