I have spent the last 2 months looking for the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at North County Airport – Service Provider in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do some more reading to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Palm Beach Gardens as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
