I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at E Z Rent-A-Car in Orange, CA and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are many reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more reading to work out which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Orange as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
