I have spent the last couple of months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Old Bridge Airport Inc in Old Bridge, NJ and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a bit more investigating to determine which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Old Bridge as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
