I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at J J Security Incorporated Fire Department in Oklahoma City, OK and she said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to determine which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Oklahoma City as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
