I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Airtrans Inc in Ocala, FL and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are frequently the best way to make a good decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a little more research to see which packages offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Ocala as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
