I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine used to work at Airtrans Inc in Ocala, FL and she said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a little more research to work out which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Ocala as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
