I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at America West Airlines in Oakland, CA and she said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do some more reading to see which products offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Oakland as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
