I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Sita Utell Int’l-reed Int’l in Oak Brook, IL and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are further product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should narrow it down to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a little more reading to work out which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Oak Brook as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
