I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A friend of mine used to work at C M R Residence of Long Island in Northport, NY and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are further product advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to see which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Northport as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
