I have spent the last 2 months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine used to work at Galaxy Sedan Service in North Hollywood, CA and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do some more research to work out which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in North Hollywood as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
