I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine worked at Nogales International Airport in Nogales, AZ and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are many benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to determine which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Nogales as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
