I have spent the last 2 months looking for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at Buffalo Flight Training in Niagara Falls, NY and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do some more reading to determine which programs offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Niagara Falls as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
