I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine used to work at Newark Airport Long Term Parking Inc in Newark, NJ and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other product advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the best way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a little more research to see which programs offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Newark as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
