I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A relative of mine used to work at False River Regional Airport in New Roads, LA and he said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in New Roads as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
