I have spent the last 2 months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Proav Municipal Management Group in New Philadelphia, OH and he said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really should narrow it down to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are frequently the best way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more investigating to determine which products offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in New Philadelphia as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
