I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Inglewood Aviation Inc in New London, NC and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are further benefits but those are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a bit more investigating to work out which programs offer the most features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in New London as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
