I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A relative of mine briefly worked at Dassault Falcon Jet – New Castle County Airport, Maintenance in New Castle, DE and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more investigating to determine which programs offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in New Castle as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
