I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A relative of mine worked at Naples Airport Authority – Administration in Naples, FL and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to work out which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Naples as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
