I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Hatbox Airport in Muskogee, OK and he said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a bit more reading to determine which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Muskogee as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
