I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Airmech Inc in Murrieta, CA and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

• Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more reading to determine which packages offer the best features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Murrieta as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
