I have spent the last couple of months looking for the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine used to work at MT Sterling Montgomery County Airport in Mount Sterling, KY and he once said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software enables enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further advantages but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to see which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Mount Sterling as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
