I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Dias Maria Arlinda PhD in Mount Sinai, NY and she said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do some more reading to work out which products offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Mount Sinai as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
