I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Lee Airport Concessions Limited in Morrisville, NC and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Contract Insight
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to determine which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Morrisville as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
