I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine used to work at Monticello Aviation Inc in Monticello, IL and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the best way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to work out which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Monticello as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
