I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at Best Western Airport Inn in Monroe, LA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

I really have to reduce the list to the best software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more reading to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Monroe as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
