I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Beech Aero Center in Minneapolis, MN and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets companies to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the best way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a bit more investigating to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Minneapolis as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
