I have spent the last few months searching for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Municipal Airport in Mineral Wells, TX and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are many benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to work out which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Mineral Wells as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
