I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Michigan City Municipal Airport in Michigan City, IN and she said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but they are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do some more research to see which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Michigan City as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
