I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Falcon Trust Air in Miami, FL and she said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software lets companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are a number of benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really should narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to determine which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Miami as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
