I have spent the last couple of months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at Budget Consulting Services in Miami, FL and he once said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are often the easiest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more research to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Miami as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
