I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A relative of mine briefly worked at Mexico Memorial Airport in Mexico, MO and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really should narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more research to see which programs offer the best features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Mexico as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
