I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Republic Parking System in Melbourne, FL and he said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are many reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to narrow it down to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to work out which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Melbourne as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
