I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine used to work at Tag Aviation USA Inc in Mckinleyville, CA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to determine which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Mckinleyville as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
