I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Manistee Blacke Airport in Manistee, MI and he said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a little more research to see which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Manistee as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
