I have spent the last couple of months searching for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A relative of mine used to work at Berry’s Limited in Lubbock, TX and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are many benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Software program reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a bit more reading to see which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Lubbock as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
