I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Moberly Consulting in Louisville, KY and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows companies to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are many reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• ProCon

I really must narrow it down to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to see which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Louisville as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
