I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A relative of mine briefly worked at North Buffalo Suburban Airport in Lockport, NY and he once said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really should narrow it down to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do some more research to work out which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Lockport as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
