I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which program to buy. A relative of mine worked at Laurens County – Airport in Laurens, SC and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really should narrow it down to the best software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to determine which packages offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Laurens as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
