I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Municipal Airport in Lamar, MO and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really must narrow it down to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more research to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Lamar as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
